Why Clayfield Farm Could Be Your Ideal Yorkshire Wedding Venue

We are proud to offer a barn wedding venue, 14 miles East of the City of York and 1.5 miles from Pocklington town centre, that’s both welcoming and unpretentious. Our oak-framed venue room sits quietly among rolling fields and blooming gardens, with friendly sheep and peacocks adding to the rural charm. It’s a simple, beautiful backdrop for your celebration, perfect for couples who want their day to feel relaxed and personal.

Conveniently located with good road links to York and surrounding areas, Clayfield Farm is easy for your guests to reach, whether they’re coming from the city or further afield.

Our venue room can host up to 80 seated guests and features big bi-fold doors that open onto a sunny patio, just right for outdoor summer ceremonies or al fresco drinks. The space is a blank canvas, so you can bring your own style, favourite flowers, catering, and music, and we’ll help you make it all come together.

The Magic of a Summer Wedding in the Yorkshire Countryside

Summer at Clayfield Farm means long daylight hours for photos, mingling, and even sunset ceremonies. Our gardens are at their best, full of flowers and greenery that naturally frame the barn and patio. Wide paths and level lawns make it easy for your guests to wander, relax, and enjoy themselves.
